Yanai Ltd. is an electrical engineering company specializing in consulting and detailed planning of the most complex facilities. The company was established in 1956. Yanai expanded over the years and currently has a team of about 80 staff members, of whom 32 are licensed engineers. The company’s CEO is Amnon Shostak, and the Chairman is Emanuel Marynko. The company has three offices in Tel Aviv, Haifa and Be’er Sheva.

Yanai Ltd specializes in electrical planning for the following systems:
Industrial systems, semiconductor plants, DATA CENTERS, high-voltage substations, power plants, desalination and wastewater treatment facilities, computerized control systems, public buildings, hospitals, university campuses and research centers, solar systems (PV), energy-saving systems, and smart grids. Yanai Ltd. is the main designer of the Israel Railways electrification project.
Planning of industrial systems: Yanai Ltd. has planned and participated in the establishment of more than 1,000 projects with electrical connections of up to 120MW in industries such as oil refining, chemical industries, electronics industries, metallurgy, cement, textiles, food and dairy industries, power stations, transformer substations and electricity distribution systems, and electrolysis facilities in chlorine and magnesium plants. Among the prominent projects carried out by Yanai Ltd. are Intel’s FAB 28 in Kiryat Gat, the magnesium plant in Sdom – with electrical works valued at approximately USD 60 million, Tower Semiconductor’s plant in Migdal HaEmek, Intel’s FAB 8 plant in Jerusalem, the Makhteshim plant in Ramat Hovav, the Bromine Compounds plant in Ramat Hovav, FCC, CCR, HDS and other facilities at the refineries, and the Carmel Olefins polypropylene plant.
Yanai Ltd has planned over 20 DATA-CENTERS:
• NVIDIA – 30MVA server farm for AI systems.
• NVIDIA – 120MVA server farm for AI systems.
• Anan – 120MVA server farm in Afula for AI systems.
• Anan – Tzora – 48MVA server farm.
• Intel in Haifa.
• Intel in Kiryat Gat FAB28.
• The new Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
• The Ministry of Defense and the IDF.
• Bezeq’s HOSTING information center in Jaffa.
Yanai Ltd. has designed more than 25 high-voltage substations in Israel and six substations in Thailand. Yanai Ltd. designed the new ground terminal at Ben Gurion Airport, the New Central Bus Station in Tel Aviv, and more than 400 public and commercial buildings, office buildings, and high-tech company facilities for companies such as Intel, Microsoft, NVIDIA, and others.
Hospitals: Yanai Ltd. designed more than 10 hospitals as well as numerous departments in most hospitals throughout Israel.
Universities and Research Centers: Yanai Ltd. designed fully or partially five campuses: The Hebrew University of Jerusalem – Givat Ram Campus and Mount Scopus Campus, Tel Aviv University, Haifa University, and Ben-Gurion University.
Yanai designed a large portion of the Weizmann Institute buildings, as well as Carmel Hospital in Haifa, and most of the electrical planning work at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital.
Special projects: Upgrading Mekorot’s pumping stations and control centers for the National Water Carrier, full design of rectifier systems for electrolysis systems, HaYovel Port in Ashdod, the South Port, the Gulf Port, El Al facilities at Ben Gurion Airport, the Soreq Nuclear Research Center, and the solar research center at the Weizmann Institute.
Planning Power Plants:
Yanai Ltd. has designed more than 20 power plants in Israel and abroad, including:
• The 54MW PRIME power station for the Haifa refineries.
• 1x140MW steam turbine in Ramat Hovav for completion of the combined cycle system.
• 2x140MW steam turbines at the Hagit facility for completion of combined cycle systems.
• 2x37MVA L.S diesel generator system for the power station at the Dead Sea plants.
• 18MW steam power plant for Hadera Paper Mills.
• 48MW gas turbine for the Nesher plant in Ramla.
• 48MW gas turbine and cogeneration system for Paz refineries in Ashdod.
• Preliminary design of the 800MW Dorad power station.
• 2x50MW gas turbine systems in Botswana.
• 140MW cogeneration system at Makhteshim.
• Ashdod Energy’s 80MW cogeneration system.
• 245MW gas turbine and cogeneration system for the Dead Sea plants.
• 88MW power plant at Sugat.
• Nesher Ramla 130MW.
• 130MW thermosolar power plant at Ashalim.

Planning the Train Electrification in Israel: A 420KM railway electrification project including 14 substations.
Areas of Activity: High-voltage systems, high-voltage substations, power plants, PV systems, high-, medium-, and low-voltage distribution systems, control systems, DATA CENTERS, UPS systems, rectifier systems and DC systems, special protection systems, communication infrastructures, safety and security systems, SCADA control systems, and energy-saving systems for buildings.
Yanai Ltd. designed the Intel research center in Haifa, which received a GOLD rating in the international LEED certification for energy-efficient buildings.
European and American Partners
Yanai Ltd served as a design subcontractor for European and American companies and carried out planning works for international companies. Among the foreign companies are Intel, Meisner-Worst, Crawford & Russel, Cannon, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, SKIDMORE, PB, Siemens, S.O.M, CDM, CH2HILL, ARUP, and PERKINS-WILL.

Activity in the Field of Cyber Protection
Yanai Ltd established a unique department specializing in cybersecurity for electrical and control systems.
As part of its activities, the company developed a transformer cyberattack protection system – a unique system and the first of its kind in the world.
