In the past year, the sale of Leumi Card to the American private equity firm “Warburg Pincus” was completed and the company embarked on a new journey, as an independent financial entity with a new name, “max”. Innovative Products and Services - max invests heavily in business development to expand the range of innovative products and advanced digital services that it offers its customers on its website and app. max’s advanced digital services enable users to receive current information regarding their transactions and account status, to purchase cardholder benefits, to activate or block cards, to request or transfer funds, to obtain information and services via text massages, to receive account statements by email, etc.
Customized Credit Solutions - max offers a wide range of customized financial solutions based on the customer’s monthly expenses and repayment ability. The various credit solutions enable the company’s customers to manage their expenses with flexible loan repayments or alternatively to choose a fixed monthly payment amount.
A Range of Visa and MasterCard Cards - max issues and operates a variety of credit cards that enable smart and customized management, e.g. “Payback” credit cards that provide cashback on card purchases and “Executive” cards that offer bespoke benefits in Israel and abroad for various workplaces.

Two types of max cards are available:

1. Bank cards - cards that are issued in cooperation with Bank Leumi, Mizrahi Tefahot or Discount Bank. Mizrahi Tefahot and Discount Bank customers also profit from max’s benefits program.

2. Non-bank cards - max-issued cards for customers of any bank, mostly in collaboration with third parties (such as Dream Card VIP) or dedicated cards for organizations such as the Israeli Police.

Cards issued by max can be further categorized as follows:
• Deferred debit - the debiting of all transactions made by the cardholder is deferred to a date of choice (the 2nd, 10th or 15th of the month)
• Revolving credit - the cardholder chooses a fixed amount to be debited each month with the balance of the debt deferred to the following month, plus any accrued interest
• Prepaid - the cardholder loads a fixed sum against which all subsequent transaction amounts are deducted.

Our Pinukim (“indulgences”) program has become the company’s hallmark. max customers enjoy hundreds of “1+1” entertainment and leisure benefits as well as discounts at leading retail chains. A Variety of Acquiring Solutions:
• Acquiring of leading card brands - Visa, MasterCard, Isracard, and UnionPay. This year, max’s product and digital process for merchant boarding won the “Product of the Year” award
• SMART packages for SMEs – including: acquiring, instant crediting of the merchant’s account and modern terminals - all for a fixed and transparent monthly fee
• Factoring and invoice discounting to improve cash flow - enable businesses to be paid “upfront” for installment transactions
